Enhance Your Natural Beauty Through Our Lash Services

Lash extensions are single strands of sterilized synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. These synthetic eyelashes are applied to each individual natural eyelash one by one for a natural, beautiful, and fuller look.

Lash extensions hold their bond onto a natural eyelash until the natural lash sheds itself during its own lash cycle. Lash extensions come in a variety of lengths, thicknesses, finishes, and curl types.

The style of lashes will vary per client. Different looks can be achieved. Eyelash extensions are perfect for special occasions or for day-to-day wear.

We offer the following lash services at House of Glo RX:

  • Lash Extensions
  • Lash Lift & Tint
  • Wax & Tint

Some Things You Need to Know

• Show up to your appointment completely bare-faced

• It’s not an in-and-out type of appointment

• The best extensions are custom

• Stay away from cluster lashes

• You may need to adjust your skincare routine and the way you do your makeup

• You’ll need to learn to sleep with a satin eye mask and a satin pillowcase

• You’ll have to relearn how to wash your face and give your eyes special attention

• Like your hair, lashes need to be brushed

• Never-ever-pick at them

• Prepare and budget to have 2 appointments each month

• No extreme heat, no oils anywhere, no mascara, no eyeliner

Preparations Before Your Appointment

• Do not consume any caffeinated beverages before your appointment. Caffeine can cause your eyes to flutter during an appointment.

• Please plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time, to update all necessary consultation forms and prepare for your appointment to begin on time.

• Please make sure to arrive without contacts, concealer, or eye makeup (mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, etc.) on the day of your appointment.

• Avoid curling your natural lashes with a lash curler for 24 hours prior to your appointment.

• Makeup removal will result in time being taken from lashing and a removal fee of $20 will be added to the service.

Aftercare Do's and Don't

DO's

  • WASH YOUR LASHES: It's recommended to wash your lashes 3-5 days a week using an oil-free lash shampoo and foam pump. Use a soft clean cleansing brush to gently wash your lashes.
  • GROOM YOUR LASHES DAILY: You can brush your lashes with a disposable mascara wand or spoolie.
  • FLUFF YOUR LASHES AND SET THEM BACK INTO PLACE: After a shower, blot your lashes with a towel with your eyes closed then fluff then and you should not have to touch them the rest of the day.

DONT's

  • USE PRODUCTS THAT CONTAIN OIL. This includes cosmetics, mascara, even on the bottoms! Also makeup removers, cleansers or moisturizers. Look for products that are water based but not waterproof.
  • DO NOT CURL YOUR LASHES WITH A MANUAL LASH CURLER. This can break you natural lashes. Exposure to extreme heat will crimp, singe or loosen the curl of your lashes.
  • DO NOT PULL ON YOUR NEW LASHES. This can cause your natural lashes to fall out prematurely and cause both breakage and permanent damage to the hair follicle. Please remember, the less you touch your lashes, the longer they will last between fills. Your fingers also have natural oils that will affect your glue bonds.
  • DO NOT WORRY WHEN YOU LOSE AN EXTENSION. Each extension will fall out with its own natural lash during its normal growth cycle. Anywhere between 2-4 lashes a day is considered normal.
